Go-to App for Studying

Ive accumulated a bunch of no-noise related study apps. This is the one I return to again & again. Its just so...calming. I can focus. Yay. Thanks.

Great Study Aide

Simple no frills app. Perfect for studying in a distracting coffee shop.

College student during FINALS!

This is awesome!! At first I was a little thrown off by the bird sounds and how it would get loud all of a sudden. But I fixed that-just turned the volume down a bit. It has helped me a lot during finals, since my attention span is almost nonexistent-the app has helped me focus which has been great!

I fall asleep to this!!

Absolutely love this!! Not only does it help me study!! It helps me fall asleep. And when I fall asleep and cant turn it off, it turns itself off after 45 min. ,amazing!! Thanks!!

Love it!!

Such a great soundscape for drowning out unwanted noise and also so relaxing! Not the sort of music you can hum along too which is great because thats so distracting. Ive used it do much for studying that when I hear it now I just get in that productive zone. I love this app (:

Classroom Atmosphere Calmer

For too long Ive been plagued by noise in my classroom. Our school building has very little to help dampen noise, and Ive learned after lots of research that the poor acoustics could be the culprit for undesirable behavior and stress in both teachers and students. I am in the process of discussing this topic with the other teachers and our principal with the intention of adding acoustic paneling and other noise dampeners. I consulted with an audiologist who directed me to Julian Treasures TED talk series, and it was in one of his awesome presentations that I learned about the Study app. He noted that the soundscape has been clinically tested and proven to help calm the atmosphere. I thought Id give it a try in my classroom, and I am thrilled to report good things! I feel calm. My students seem calmer. The noise level is manageable. In general, the atomosphere in my classroom is greatly improved. Im not kidding when I say that this app is a life changer.

This app is perfect! There are so many that say they will help you concentrate or block out noise. But most of those are just as distracting as the things youre trying to drown out! Not this app! Its great :)

Ive been using this app for a couple years now and Im so glad I found it. Started back to college and have a hard time focusing on reading with all the chatter in my head from being a mother, friend, employee, student. There is always some internal chatter or background noise going on. I put my ear buds in and have this playing and I am able to just tune out and focus on what Im trying to learn. I was skeptical at first because I thought it would just be another noise to distract me. The combination of subtle music and nature sounds just puts me in a learning frame of mind. Anyway, thats my story. I love this app and it has been invaluable to me. Thank you!

I love this app! I use it to study and write essays. Its really helpful when I have to use public spaces to study. It blocks out all of the noise without becoming a distraction.

Decreases studying anxiety!

Lately Ive been getting really anxious when Ive had to study for exams. I get jittery and its hard to pay attention. I will have a hard time focusing which will make me anxious so Ill take a break which makes me anxious that Im procrastinating so Ill start studying again and the cycle continues. As soon as I turned the app on and listened to the soothing tones, I could feel my entire body relax. The sounds are so calming and whenever I found my attention straying I would concentrate on the sounds for a second and then go back to studying. Before trying this I was a little wary and thought it would be distracting, but it really isnt! Give it a try and see if it works for you!
